Oct. 10, 2023 – The North Central College women's soccer team was awarded the 23rd spot in the United Soccer Coaches' National rankings, marking their first national rank since the 2022 season.

The Cardinals also find themselves holding again at third in the Region VIII behind Calvin University (10-0-2) at second and Washington University (11-0-0) at first.

This comes after two straight shutout wins against CCIW rivals Wheaton College (4-0) and Carthage College (6-0), with Jordan Lange being awarded her first career CCIW Offensive Player of the Week Award off of two goals and two assists.

With goals from Lange, Katie Huey, Elle Sutter, and Sarah Andrey, they broke the program's single season record for goals hitting 59, breaking the record of 52. This helped maintain their hold on the number one spot in goals, assists, and points in all of division three women's soccer.

North Central continues their CCIW conference play at home, Wednesday October 11th against North Park University. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
