Sept. 19, 2023 – The North Central College women's soccer team was ranked fifth in the United Soccer Coaches' Region VIII rankings coming off a 6-2 start to the 2023 season.

In the second poll of the season the United Soccer Coaches' ranked the Cardinals fifth after two victories against Kalamazoo College (7-1) and Transylvania University (2-1), while suffering a tough loss dealt by No. 21 Calvin University (5-3).

Ahead of the Cardinals in the rankings are Milwaukee School of Engineering at fourth, University of Chicago at third, now ranked No. 16 Calvin University at second, and Washington University (Mo.) securing the first slot.

The Cardinals look to continue their two-win streak into the last three matchups of their five game homestand.

North Central holds a 6-2 record and resume the homestand Wednesday night as they battle the Adrian College Bulldogs. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
