Sept. 26, 2023 – The North Central College women's soccer team jumped two slots to become ranked third overall in the United Soccer Coaches' Region VIII rankings, after a 8-2 start to the 2023 season.

In the third poll of the season the United Soccer Coaches' ranked the Cardinals third after two shutout wins against, Adrian College (4-2-2) and their first CCIW opponent Elmhurst University (4-3-1).

Just ahead of North Central is No. 19 Calvin University (6-0-2) at second and No. 3 Washington University Mo. (7-0-0) at first.

The Cardinals look to continue their four-win and two game shutout streaks, as they start a short two game road trip.

North Central holds a strong 8-2 record and travel to take on the Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops on Saturday night. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. at Jay Martin Soccer Complex.
